Dance Program

What is the commitment?

We separate our dance program into sessions - when you sign up, you have the option to join us for the fall (Sept-Dec), Winter & Spring (Jan-May) or the full school year. Our summer options are a bit more flexible with scheduling and commitment as well. Our family classes are run as drop ins or 6 week sessions.

What is the tuition?

We like to be completely transparent with our rates. Tuition is typically billed monthly and is listed on our dance registration page. Please note that if you sign up for more than one class, tuition does get significantly discounted. We do have registration fees for our school year dance program and have costume fees (typically $65-75 per class) for our spring recital. Contact us if you have any questions on the tuition rates!

What should my child wear to dance class?

Female students should wear tights, a leotard, and a ballet skirt (optional) to every ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary classes. Male students should wear jazz pants and a t-shirt (not too loose) so that they can move freely. Acro students should wear leotards or form fitting attire to allow for instructor spotting. Hip Hop students should wear leggings or joggers with a comfortable shirt to move freely. All shoulder-length hair should be worn tied back and out of their face. Our full list of dance shoes can be found in our online store by clicking here.

Can I make up a class if my child is sick?

To accommodate an illness or a vacation, we allow students to make up any missed classes at another class time of a similar level. For example, a student that misses their own dance class on a Wednesday will be allow to make up that absence on a Saturday during a similar class.

Do you have performance opportunities?

We do! We hold a casual in-studio holiday show at the end of our fall session and we have a formal all-studio recital in early June. We also have performance teams for ages 5-13. This team represents the studio at parades, local events, and novice competitions!
